And even if you mirror it down to a service perspective, the janitorial industry is still a massive market as the money spent on cleaning supplies and services is astronomical.

And according to my research, I found out that, to be successful in the janitorial industry, you need to pick and focus on one sector at a time. For example, if you’re a distributor, you can choose the commercial or healthcare sector as your focal point. And If its the services industry, the same method can also be applied because, when you focus on one sector at a time, it becomes easy for you to create value due to your extensive understanding of those industries - This priceless understanding can also enable you to solve unknown challenges your customers have.

 

So, regardless of the sector you choose, you need to remember that each sector is massive and you're never going to run out of customers if you focus on a sector. The janitorial industry is a 24 billion dollar industry that has a lot to offer, and services like cleaning are also massive. Beyond that, you should also keep in mind that specialization is the key, and "There is riches in the niches," they say.”
